Legalization of historical vehicles

We carry out the necessary management to legalize your vehicle as historic according to the established Royal Decree 1247/1995, 14th of July.
So that a vehicle can be catalogued as historic it must comply with some of the following requisites: 

1- The vehicle must be at least 25 years of age, starting from the date of its manufacture.

2- If there have been modifications to the structure or components of the vehicle, the status of the historic vehicle will be reviewed at the moment of classification.

3- The vehicle called to comprise in a collection, understood due to, its characteristics, singularity, clear scarcity or other very special circumstances, so as to enable it to be given classification under the historical vehicle rules.

4- The vehicle must be included in the “Inventario General de Bienes Muebles del Patrimonio Español” or declared as a cultural interest and thus can be reviewed as a special interest by having belonged to some relevant personality or been involved in some important historical event, thus releasing the vehicle from the  accrediting reports and relevant assessments.

If your vehicle complies with any of these three points it could be categorized as historic and benefit from reductions from circulation taxes and insurance.
